I'm a webmaster, not a photographer. However, when my client Sheila Greenland & Canyon Run needed some new pictures taken, I dropped my mouse and picked up my Nikon D40. Below is the result.

I didn't like the background/sky in the original photo, so I took it out and replaced it with my own. You gotta love Photoshop!
I had fun playing photographer for an afternoon with an awesome group of people. It was a great opportunity to get out and do something different; to be creative at something new.
